A downloadable asset pack
This asset pack contains 16 unique, static monster sprites in the vein of classic RPGs like Final fantasy as well as dungeon crawlers like Eye of the beholder and Dungeon master. In addition, each sprite has an alternate color version for a total of 32 sprites. Also included is a high quality fantasy backdrop to be used during combat.
Sprite size ranges from 25x21px for the smallest sprite to 45x60px for the largest.

Contents:
A separate PNG for each monster sprite with a corresponding shadow sprite for each one, as well as an alternate color scheme version of each sprite.

Just bought the Stone UI, Portraits, Inventory Items and this Monsters pack and I'm really excited to start making my new mobile game with these assets! I love the color palettes and the style, they're perfect.
Out of curiosity, is there any plan to make a second pack of monsters? I'd happily pay for another pack or two or three of monsters in this same art style to add to my game! If not, that's totally fine, just know there's interest out there if you did make another pack or expanded on this one 🙂
Glad to hear it! There's a second monster pack well underway, I've made 18 or so sprites so far - I may want to add some idle anims and attack/hurt frames to that one though, so there's still some work left to do on it.

Do you by chance have an idea of when this second pack might be available for purchase? I'm currently working on a game for my semester's final project using your assets and I am in need of some boss monsters for it still. I would like to keep the art style consistent if possible so I figured I would check with you first before I source them elsewhere.

I might be buying this pack along with all the background packs now too. It's always nice to know that more packs in the same style are on the way.
This is a really great asset pack. Would you consider making a complimentary battle background back in the future (stuff like forest, cave, desert, volcano, ice cave, dungeon… I guess?).
a complimentary pack with (fewer) large boss monsters would also be very cool.

I hadn't thought about a boss monster pack but I like the idea, that would be a lot of fun to make.
That sounds wonderful, and I hope you manage to realize both of those packs. I'll buy them for sure. It's actually really hard to get your hands on (pixel art) battle background assets without hiring an artist directly (but that's quite pricey for a hobbyist).
Do you already have an idea of what environments/settings (and how many...ish?) you'd put in such a pack? While I assume it'd still be quite some time before you had it all finished, just knowing you where thinking about it made me really curious.
Good to hear there's a need for backgrounds. I haven't decided all settings yet but I'm currently working on a dungeon one (natural caverns) so that one is in for sure. Some that are very likely to make it in: Forest, swamp, desert, probably some castle or temple interior - I'll aim for 5-8 total I'd say.

Hi! There's currently no animations and I don't plan on adding all of those - if there's enough interest I'll consider adding idle animations and single frame attacks.
